Bad Neighbours 2

Stars:

Seth Rogan, Chloe Grace Moretz, Rose Byrne and Zac Efron

UK Release date:

6th May 2016

Info:

The movie follows on from the original Bad Neighbours film after a family couple, Mac and Kelly (played by Rogan and Byrne), finally get rid of a fraternity next door. However, now a sorority has moved instead and chaos breaks out again. Mac and Kelly turn to old enemies from the original Bad Neighbours (Efron and Dave Franco) to help get rid of another bunch of noisy neighbours.

Excitement level:

Not rushing to the cinema but hope it’s as good as the first film!

Suicide Squad

Stars:

Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto

UK Release Date:

5th August 2016

Info:

The hype surrounding this film has been huge. It’s got the stars and the characters but will it live up to it’s reputation. A secret government agency rounds up a group of convicted supervillians to go on a black ops mission; in return they get a shorter prison sentence. Leto in particular has a lot of press coverage  for his portrayal of the Joker character. There’s even a rumour that Ben Afflect will appear as Batman in the film because there’s a glimpse the dark knight in one of the trailers. Please don’t disappoint me like Superman vs Batman!

Excitement level:

I NEED TO SEE THIS FILM!

Finding Dory

Stars:

Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks and Idris Elba

UK Release Date:

29th July 2016

Info:

There’s always excitement surrounding a Disney Pixar production; especially a sequel of a successful film. It’s been 13 years since Finding Nemo was first released but the fishy gang are back on our screens. This time the forgetful fish Dory is off on a quest to find her true family.

Excitement level:

Don’t care if I’m the oldest one in the theatre, I will see this movie!

Jason Bourne

Stars:

Matt Damon, Alicia Vikander and Julia Stiles

UK Release Date:

28th July 2016

Info:

Jason Bourne now knows his true identity and  has to uncover more about his true identity. He’s still a wanted man by the government after his involvement in many secret operations. If it’s half as good as the Bourne Trilogy then it’ll definitely be worth a watch. Let’s hope it isn’t a flop like Bourne Legacy though!

Excitement Level:

More scared than excited. Loved the original first three film, so I just hope this isn’t a film too far. MATT DAMON! (sorry had to be done!)

Sausage Party

Stars:

Seth Rogan, James Franco, Paul Rudd and Kristen Wiig

UK Release Date:

2nd September 2016

Info:

We’ve seen adult content in cartoon animation but it hasn’t been done in a pure CGI film yet. Sausage Party aims to fill that void with an explosion of crudeness. The film follows a sausage’s quest to spread the word of food’s actual purpose for humans. The voice casting is glittered with comedy greats and from what Rogan has been saying in the press it will definitely be hilariously offensive.

Excitement level:

I’m ready to annoy most of Woking Ambassadors cinema with my laugher in September!

X Men: Apocalypse

Stars:

James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult

UK Release Date:

18th May 2016

Info:

The mutant team are back with another instalment that explains the rise of the X-Men. Evil mutant Apocalypse has awaken after a thousand year sleep and it’s up to the X-Men to stop him trying to take over the world. It sees the return of Hugh Jackman as his famous character Wolverine.

Excitement level:

Meh! Might wait to watch it on TV.

Star Trek: Beyond

Stars:

Chris Pine, Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana and Simon Pegg

UK Release Date:

22nd July 2016

Info:

Kirk and the gang crash land on a unknown planet after a five year mission. It’s up to the captain to get his crew back to Earth before it’s too late. This time Fast and Furious director Justin Lin takes over from J.J . Abrams (who’s producer for this film instead), which leads to the thought that it might have more exploding action scenes than an actual plot.

Excitement level:

Sorry Trek fans I’m giving this one a miss!

The Legend of Tarzan

Stars:

Margot Robbie, Alexander Skarsgard and Samuel L. Jackson

UK Release Date:

8th July 2016

Info:

The Tarzan story is reborn but don’t expect a Disney family friendly tale. This version is more gritty and has more sexual scenes than the cartoon version. Robbie apparently punched her co-star Skarsgard while filming an “animalistic sex scene”, yikes!

Excitement level:

Intrigued but undecided

Captain America: Civil War

Stars:

Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johansson

UK Release Date:

29th april 2016

Info:

Marvel are churning out a lot of films now! The next Captain America film follows on from the fall out of the last Avengers film. Iron Man and Captain America cross paths on how they think they should go about saving the world and turn on each other. It’s basically a mini Avengers film with a Captain America title.

Excitement level:

How many of these films can they make? They all merge into one now. This franchise definitely needs a break.
