Marvel Studios has announced that the upcoming movie titled ‘Inhumans’ has been dropped from Phase Three.
The movie was scheduled to be released in July 2019, but it has been delayed from production, announced Kevin Feige the President of Marvel Studios.
Feige has however, expressed that the movie will go ahead, but he does not know when exactly.
“It will definitely happen.” He told The New York Daily News. “When that is, in Phase Three or Phase Four, I’m not sure yet.”
Holding back the movie could seem like a wise choice as Marvel are already introducing a host of new characters to the MCU in Phase Three, including the likes of Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Spider-Man to name a few.
Several Inhuman characters were introduced in the second season of Marvel’s television show Agents of Shield and there was expected to be some cross-over within the movie, in terms of actors.
Phase Three now consists of ten movies which are scheduled to released between 2016-2019. These include Captain America: Civil War (April 2016), Doctor Strange (November 2016), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 (May 2017), Spider-Man: Homecoming (July 2017), Thor: Ragnarok (November 2017), Black Panther (February 2018), Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 (May 2018), Ant-Man and the Wasp (July 2018), Captain Marvel (March 2019) and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 (May 2019).
The next movie to appear in the MCU is Captain America: Civil War which is set to hit the cinemas on 29 April in the UK and a week later in North America.
