Weir Archer academy raised over £500 at the Kingston Fireworks display

The Weir Archer Academy have managed to raise over £500 during an extremely successful evening of fundraising at Kingston’s annual fireworks display.

After being selected as the events chosen charity by the Kingston Upon-Thames Round table & Rotary Club, the Academy put on an excellent raffle which included some brilliant prizes to raise both awareness and money to help support our athletes.

Held at the Kingsmeadow Athletics track where the Academy’s athletes train, the evening that was full of entertainment, music and fireworks seemed to cater for all and turned out to be a fun-filled event that was enjoyed by both adults and children alike.

Whilst the event also saw a superb turnout from our athletes, coaches, parents and volunteers, a special thank you is due to both Tania and Jackie who prepared the raffle prizes and continued to put a lot of effort into raising both money and awareness for the academy on the night.
